The Drifter: Murder, Mystery, and Second Chances

Death is Just the Beginning

The Drifter delivers a gripping blend of pulp adventure thriller set in a world of mystery. You play as Mick Carter, a drifter who isn’t have the best of luck in the world and witnesses a violent murder, gets knocked out by mysterious hi-tech soldiers and then drowns. Yup, that is it. Or it would be. Mick strangely wakes up alive again, seconds before his death, thrust back into his own body and remembers everything before. Now Mick is trying to figure out who tried to kill him and how to charge his damn phone!

Pointing and clicking with style

The Drifter takes a classic 2D point and click adventure approach and cranks it up. You’ll investigate crime scenes, collect specific objects, and piece everything together to figure out the mystery. The story is fast paced, with investigative puzzles to bridge it together. Mick narrates his own story, keeping you engaged as he moves from one dangerous situation to the next. The game works with both traditional mouse controls and twin-stick controller setup, making it accessible however you want to play. Classic pixel art animation combines with outstanding voice acting and a dark-synth score to create that perfect noir feel.
