PVic Games has recently released a demo for ARTIUS: Pure Imagination, a high-speed 2D platformer where you are in the city of Ruperstine, which is well known for its vibrant art scene. The game draws similarities to the old-school Sonic the Hedgehog games with its fast-paced movement mechanics, featuring dashing, swinging, and momentum-based platforming through colorful environments.
You can swap between four playable characters, who are painters, sculptors, dancers, and others with artistic backgrounds with unique abilities to help with puzzle-solving and uncovering hidden areas. The story focuses on PIVOLO, a student who has launched an anti-art regime driven by jealousy over others' talents. He wants to create a world where art no longer inspires.
There is a demo currently available on Steam. No official release date has been announced. Interested players can add the game to their Wishlist for updates.
