Fardust, the team that brought you tactical RPGs Alder's Blood and Nadir, is currently putting together a new project called Shards of Order, a dark fantasy RPG deckbuilder that uses a time counter system.

Set in a world that is falling apart, where reality itself is starting to unravel and the dead refuse to stay buried. Now you must search throughout the land to uncover the hidden secrets and put everything back together.

Shards of Order uses a time counter system that is somewhat unique, where each enemy has a countdown timer that decreases based on the player's actions instead of being turn-based. Planning is crucial, as a single disastrous move can wipe out your entire party. You can play up to three different characters in the demo: Soldier, Scholar, or Exile. You share a deck with all party members, but each character has their own unique playstyles and combat mechanics.

The team has been active on their Steam discussion page, wanting as much feedback from the community as possible:

"Your feedback matters. We've got an immense amount of ideas, partially thanks to your feedback, and we've decided to try and include you in the development process as much as possible." Steam Discussion

There is currently no release date, as the game is still set in early development. You can download the demo that was recently released on their Steam page.
