If you enjoy hand-drawn 2D point-and-click adventures, Seventh Disorder is currently working on a project that you might appreciate called Mithra. The company has announced that it plans to release it for PC and Steam Deck in Q3 2026. They claim it will most likely be released in July 2026, with a more definite date to be disclosed in the coming months.

Mithra follows a young girl named Kyra, a teenager from Brixton, South London, as she goes on an adventure involving Mirthrasim, the world's first cult. Players navigate hand-drawn settings from London to Beijing, completing narrative-driven puzzles. A demo of the game is now available on Steam.

At key puzzle stages, the game shifts between 2D and 3D perspectives. The team told us this choice aims to "subvert player expectations of what a puzzle or adventure game should be," maintaining the "weird and interesting" concept throughout the game.

Seventh Disorder will show off Mithra at AdventureX in London this weekend and MCM Comic Con in Birmingham the next weekend. The team has mentioned visibility as one of their biggest concerns as a small independent studio, and they have expressed their gratitude for the opportunities to be allowed to present their game at these events.

Players can add Mithra to their wishlist and download the demo on Steam.
